Buoyed by our bumper crop of tomatoes last year (despite our best efforts to kill them, those plants just kept producing! Seriously! When the snow melted we found tomato carcasses on the ground!) we decided to expand our potential bounty to include banana peppers, cucumbers, several varieties of herbs and even an icebox watermelon.
