Staycations

A few weeks ago Grammy came to visit. She wasn't able to get on an early flight, so we went sledding again to pass the time while we waited for her to arrive.

Eli learned how to ride the moving sidewalk to the top of the hill ...
... but he liked Daddy power much better!
Then we didn't take any more pictures for the rest of the weekend. Sorry, Grammy!

The next week Auntie Megan and Uncle Tuna came to Park City for a work trip and spent a couple of vacay days with us, too. This was the first time that Eli got to meet Uncle Tuna, and in true good uncle fashion there were plenty of presents (although thankfully no sweater vests!):

Eli thinks Uncle Tuna is # 1! Mommy, however, isn't too sure ...
... especially after reading this card:
In case you can't read it, it says: "Uncle Tuna is the best! Your parents are the devil." Nice, Tony. : )

Daddy, Auntie Megan and Uncle Tuna went skiing:

So actually, this is Uncle Tuna trying to walk his way off the mountain. After his second run.
Apparently, someone told him, "This run is really easy! You can do it!" Except apparently it really wasn't, and he couldn't. An almost tragic header ensued, hence the walking. But we did have fun sledding!

Eli even tried some free-style sledding!
But his favorite part was the sausage. Lots and lots of sausage love.

And a little bit of beer. Just a little.
Come back soon!
